How To: Utilizing the OCC App

Now that you have a membership, it is time to make the most of it! The easiest way to stay connected with all things OCC is to download our dedicated app.

Go to the Apple App Store or the Google Play store and type in The Offsite Collaboration Center.  Download the free OCC application.

Log into your account using your email address and password you used to become a member.

There are many things that you can do through the app! Let’s take a look at each one of the hot buttons along the bottom.

Your home screen will be the Feed . This is where The OCC will post updates and events. All of the fun happenings can be found on this tab! Want to learn more about a specific post on the feed? Just click on the post’s picture!

The Office tab has a lot of functionality, including submitting help tickets, viewing current OCC members, reviewing upcoming events, and it provides an overview of all your benefits.

If you need to provide feedback or report a problem, you will use the ticketing feature. To do so, either click on the “Ticket” button in the top bar of functions or click on the “Submit ticket” button near the center of your screen. Once a ticket is submitted, the OCC team is notified.

Before submitting a ticket, we ask that you check out the How To Guides. There you will find detailed processes on all things OCC. If you still need assistance, we are more than happy to help!

Next, let’s take a look at the Bookings tab. One of the most common tasks you can complete here is booking a hotdesk or private office space. To get started, click on the Bookings tab, and select the room/desk you would like to book. From there,  follow the on-screen prompts to complete your booking. Be sure you have the proper location selected at the top right corner of the screen!

Next, we have the Inbox tab. This is where you can view any interoffice messages from The OCC. You will mostly see new event posting here.


Lastly, we have the Accounts tab. Here you will see your name and your account status. At the top right corner, you will see a pencil. If you click here, you will be able to change your profile name and add a bio and phone number. One of the coolest features is the Checked out/Checked In slider. Click this button to turn it green when you are at the facility, and click it again when you leave. This is a great tool to encourage collaboration and networking among members.

Near the center of the screen, you will see Privacy Settings. Click here to update what other members can see on your profile. We recommend leaving your profile, contact details, and socials (social media pages) visible as The OCC is a great place to network, and we hope RnD will provide the same great opportunities. However, we understand that some may want to keep their information hidden. To do this, click the buttons on the right. When they turn green, your profile will not be visible to other members.
